Bangka Belitung University (BBU) is seeking a visionary Director of Research Excellence to lead our research strategy, foster innovation, and elevate our institution’s reputation as a hub for cutting-edge research in Southeast Asia. As the Director of Research Excellence at BBU, you will spearhead our research initiatives, driving the university’s mission to become a leading institution for research and development. You will work closely with faculty, researchers, and industry partners to develop and implement research projects that address real-world challenges. Your strategic vision will shape BBU’s research agenda, ensuring alignment with national and international standards.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop and implement a comprehensive research strategy to drive BBU’s academic and innovation goals.
• Foster a culture of innovation and excellence by supporting and mentoring faculty and researchers.
• Collaborate with industry partners to create impactful research projects and commercialization opportunities.
• Oversee the administration of research grants and funding, ensuring compliance with university and national regulations.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, research institutions, and private sector entities.
• Monitor and evaluate research outcomes, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Represent BBU at national and international conferences and forums to enhance the university’s visibility and reputation.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of research activities through the establishment of robust policies and procedures.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Research Management, Education, or a related discipline) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in research administration, academic leadership, or a similar high-level role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing research projects and initiatives.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills with a proven ability to drive organizational change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with research funding mechanisms, grant writing, and compliance regulations.
• Experience in higher education, preferably in a university or research institution setting.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
